Cheese Stuffed Bacon Wrapped Hot Dogs (BBQ or Fried)

INGREDIENTS

  • 4 Jumbo Hot Dogs
  • 4 Slices Bacon
  • 2 Slices of cheese (cut in strips)
  • 4 hot dog buns

INSTRUCTIONS

  1. Carefully break 4 toothpicks in half.
    Slice a pocket in the middle of the hotdog and stuff w/ strips of cheese.
  2. Wrap each hot dog in a strip of bacon and secure with a toothpick half at each end. Set aside.
  3. Bring a large skillet or grill pan sprayed with nonstick spray to medium-high heat on the stove.
  4. Add bacon-wrapped hot dogs and cook until bacon is crisp and fully cooked and hot dogs are heated through, about 6 minutes, rotating the hot dogs several times to evenly cook the bacon.

For Barbequed hotdogs:

INGREDIENTS

  • Basting Sauce:
  • 1 (100 g) tub STAR MARGARINE CLASSIC, melted
  • 1 cup tomato catsup
  • ¼ cup soy sauce

INSTRUCTIONS

  1. Combine all ingredients for basting sauce in a small bowl. Brush on hotdogs (Separate some sauce for cooked hotdogs).
  2. Grill the hotdogs until cooked then brush again with basting sauce just before serving
