INGREDIENTS
- 4 Jumbo Hot Dogs
- 4 Slices Bacon
- 2 Slices of cheese (cut in strips)
- 4 hot dog buns
INSTRUCTIONS
- Carefully break 4 toothpicks in half.
Slice a pocket in the middle of the hotdog and stuff w/ strips of cheese. - Wrap each hot dog in a strip of bacon and secure with a toothpick half at each end. Set aside.
- Bring a large skillet or grill pan sprayed with nonstick spray to medium-high heat on the stove.
- Add bacon-wrapped hot dogs and cook until bacon is crisp and fully cooked and hot dogs are heated through, about 6 minutes, rotating the hot dogs several times to evenly cook the bacon.
For Barbequed hotdogs:
INGREDIENTS
- Basting Sauce:
- 1 (100 g) tub STAR MARGARINE CLASSIC, melted
- 1 cup tomato catsup
- ¼ cup soy sauce
INSTRUCTIONS
- Combine all ingredients for basting sauce in a small bowl. Brush on hotdogs (Separate some sauce for cooked hotdogs).
- Grill the hotdogs until cooked then brush again with basting sauce just before serving
