INGREDIENTS
- 1 kg pork belly strips/liempo
- 1/4 cup ketchup
- 1 tbs cooking oil
Marinade:
- 1/2 cup soy sauce
- 10 cloves garlic, crushed
- 1/4 cup lemon juice
- 1/2 tsp ground black pepper
- 1 tsp salt
- 3 tbs brown sugar
INSTRUCTIONS
- In a small basin, combine all marinade ingredients and marinate pork belly overnight inside the fridge.
- Drain the pork belly from the sauce and set aside. Use the leftover marinade mixture and combine ketchup and oil. Mix it well and set aside for basting.
- Grill marinated pork belly over hot charcoal for 10 minutes each side or until tender while basting with marinade mixture.
- Transfer it to serving plate with sliced cucumber and serve with spicy dipping sauce. Enjoy!
