INGREDIENTS
- 1/2 curve size pumpkin (kalabasa)
- 1/2 cup condensed milk
- 2 tbsp unsalted butter
- 1 whole egg
- 1 tspn. Vanilla extract
- 1 tbsp sugar
- 1 tbsp honey
- Pinch of salt
- Turon wrapper
INSTRUCTIONS
- Peel, Boil & Drain pumpkins. Cut into 1-inch size.
- Using a medium size pan, pour cold water until it covers all pumpkins. Sprinkle a pinch of salt and bring it to boil.
- Reduce heat from medium-low, and cook 16 to 20 minutes or until fork-tender.
- Drain the pumpkin in a large colander.
- Place the cooked pumpkin into a large bowl.
- Mash the pumpkin coarsely.
- Add condensed milk, butter, egg,vanilla extract, honey and sugar.Mix well.
- Then wrap with turon wrapper. Set aside.
- In a pan, heat the oil and put-in some brown sugar.Wait until the brown sugar floats
- Then start frying until it becomes golden brown.
