CHINESE RADISH CAKE (DIMSUM)

INGREDIENTS 

A.

  • 200g rice flour
  • 80g wheat starch
  • 40g premier potato flour
  • 480g water

B.

  • 250g radish (juliennes)
  • 60g dried shrimp( soak & drain)
  • 2 pcs chinese sausages (diced)
  • 420g water
  • 5 tbsp cooking oil

Seasoning

  • 10g salt
  • 5g MSG
  • 30g sugar
  • ½ tsp pepper
  • 1 tsp sesame oil

INSTRUCTIONS

  1. Mix ingredients A. & set aside; blanch radish in boiling water. Drain
  2. Heat oil in a wok & saute dried shrimp & sausages til fragrant, then pour water & seasoning. Ones boil, toss in mixtures (A) & turn to low heat. Stir til turn into paste.
  3. Pour paste into greased. 8″×8 “3 tray, Steam in high heat for 50mins. remove & let it go. hehe let it cool I mean
  4. To serve, cut radish cake & fry a little bit w/ a little bit oil til both sides turn golden buddha or golden brown.
