Soft and chewy chocolate chip cookies flavored with your favorite hazelnut spread, Nutella. The secret to chewy cookies is the addition of cornstarch. Bake a batch and be delighted by its awesome chocolatey goodness.
INGREDIENTS
- 1/4 cup Nutella
- 1/2 cup butter, softened
- 1/2 cup brown sugar
- 1/2 cup granulated sugar
- 1 egg
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 2 cups all-purpose flour
- 2 teaspoons cornstarch
- 1 teaspoon baking soda
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1 cup chocolate chips
- 1/2 cup chopped hazelnuts
INSTRUCTIONS
- Preheat oven to 350 degrees Fahrenheit.
- In a stand mixer (or using a hand mixer). cream together the Nutella, butter and sugars. Add in the egg and vanilla and mix thoroughly.
- Mix in the flour, cornstarch, baking soda and salt, until combined.
- Add in the chocolate chips and hazelnuts.
- Roll dough into one inch balls. Place on a parchment paper or silpat-lined baking sheet and press down slightly.
- Bake for 10 minutes. Cool.
- Makes 3 dozen cookies.
