Tanique also known as Spanish Mackerel, King Fish, Seer Fish
INGREDIENTS
- 1/4 kg tanigue
- 3-4 cups water
- 2 thumb sized ginger, sliced thinly
- 1 onion quartered
- 2 pcs tomato quartered
- 1 pc siling sigang (long chili)
- 1 stalk scallion or spring onion, sliced diagonally
- 1/2- 1tbsp salt
- A pinch of powdered seasoning (optional)
PROCEDURE
- Boil water, add in ginger, tomato, onion and salt and ( powdered seasoning)..Simmer for 5 minutes.
- Add tanigue and simmer 5 -8 minutes.
- Add in siling sigang (long chili) and scallion or spring onion and cook for another 2 minutes..
