Sing Philippines Youth Choir Serenades LRT2 Commuters – The Sing Philippines Youth Choir (SPYC) composed of 100 gifted singers from 33 provinces and local communities from all over the country, serenades the commuters of LRT Line 2 with a special musical flash mob last June 3, 2016, 4:00pm The activity is part of the on-going Music Camp organized by the Cultural Center of the Philippines (CCP) Cultural Exchange Department and the Philippine Madrigal Singers.
Launched in June 2014, the SPYC Music Camp is a week-long professional chorale cliniquing under the MADZ choirmaster Mark Anthony Carpio. The Sing Philippines movement brings in harmony and united in songs.
The SPYC flash mob in LRT2 is an offering of the CCP to the public to encourage them to participate in art making and appreciation and promote artistic excellences.
