Chinese Tea Eggs

INGREDIENTS

30 hard boiled eggs
lightly cracked the shell with the back of a spoon
Herbs:
20 slices chuan qiong
12 slices gan cao
14 slices dang gui
4 star anise
2 x 3 cm cinnamon stick
2 tbsp tea leaves
2 tbsp dark soya sauce
10 tbsp light soya sauce
2 tbsp rock sugar
1 tsp salt
Water

METHOD

  1. Put all ingredients into the inner pot of Noxxa Pressure Cooker and pour in enough water to cover the eggs.
  2. Cover the lid and turn pressure regulator knob to “Pressure”. Select “High Pressure” function and set 30 minutes. Press “On/Off” button and cook until the flavor has been absorbed.
